Much smaller than humans, a crimson beard and loaded with weapons, these are the features of an Axe Swinging Dwarf. Though they look weak and kind of dainty, they are hard workers and do everything.

When you challenge them, they show you how strong and tough a dwarf can be, even if he looks like a wimp. If you ignore the fact that they're short-tempered and talk only about silver and gold, these dwarves are the mages' and dwarves' best drinking buddies. Occasionally there might be a small fight after drinking some mead.

Typical for an Axe Swinging Dwarf are his two axes which he never puts away, his light armour, his horned helmet and his waterskin, that is strangely always filled with mead. A dwarf may feel fine in a horde, of course only with his axes, but there is one place that any kind of dwarf loves even more – the tavern.

But you'd never recognize that this snug and contemporary dwarf can go berserk when he's in a fight. As soon as he hears the battle cry he fights until the very end. Dwarves are often seen in the front ranks because of their bravery and their pride (they're too proud to die while defending). That's why most Heroes put them up front. But sometimes it might happen that some dwarves go into battle drunken and so become easy prey for their enemies.
